The XBox 360 commercial [youtube] featuring parachutes and slides and a pseudo-flash mob execution really didn't hold my attention at all. However, after multiple viewings I finally locked into the children's choir singing in the background.
Could it be that The Langley Schools Music Project [wiki] was being used? Apparently not. According to their discography there doesn't appear to be a listing for Poison's "Nothin' But A Good Time".
Tracking down additional information is proving to be frustrating.

Like any good music newbie, I'm paying close attention to the best of 2006 lists that are cropping up as the year winds to a close. At the end of Sean of Said the Gramophone's list is a little song by Rappers Delight Club.
This is a musical side project for a rotating group of elementary school children that I work with. This is probably the best thing you'll ever hear. Just to clarify, I am not an elementary school teacher. I actually teach high school. This project comes out of a "typical" daycare program. Every month we do different clubs, and the Rapper's Delight Club is just one club that I do every year.
Searching for more information, turned up this older wfmu post which mentions Da Hiphop Raskalz.
This is a project and CD in progress (release date September 19, 2006) featuring music by 5-10 year olds in East Harlem. Each group of four children name their own band, and the name of the whole project together is Da Hiphop Raskalz; Elana Langer and I have been teaching them to play and write hip-hop and they do it extremely well.

"Let's do a mixtape where artists are performing their own songs - but in another language! It should only include tracks featured on an LP or EP. Imports are acceptable."

When I heard Ecstatic Sunshine's "Wavechop", I thought it was something off of the FLCL soundtrack. I went about searching and found a couple other songs by them.
